Italy & colazione al bar

Colazione al bar means having breakfast in a bar. This is part of italians every day life as they usually take a coffee (cappucino or caffè latte) with a cornetto (croissant, just that they have a coating on it) on their way to the office or church or whatever.

This morning I had a colazione al bar for 1,7 EUR. If you find such a place in Paris, please tell me, I'm curious!!!

And it made me in a good mood ;-) because the coffee was good (the cornetto a bit less but I was starving, so I didn't really mind) and I heard this sooo italian conversation between the barman and a client:

-C: Vorrei un caffè che sia degno di questo nome per favore!
-B: Sì sì come di solito.
-C: Non ho avuto un vero caffè da una settima.
-B: Dov'è stato?
-C: .............
-B: Dov'è andato?
-C: In Cina.
-B: Ah capito. Ma è un'altra cultura lì!
-C: Dal momento che si esce dell'Italia non è più lo stesso. Anche a Nord, è già diverso.

translation:
-Client: I would like a proper coffee please!
-Barman making the coffee: Yes as usal.
-C: I didn't have a real coffee for one week.
-B: Where have you been?
-C: ......... (no answer)
-B: Where did you go?
-C: In China.
-B: OK! I understand now, but you know it's another culture.
-C: As soon as you get out of Italy it's not the same anymore. Even in Friul (a region near Venice) or when you come closer to the borders it's already different.
