A bientôt!

Beautiful view, only a little bit foggy. It was endlessly raining... There we almost had an incident with a big nice dutch car parked on the way. The path was so slippy with mud that Daniel could not reverse. But he is a great driver (& fire engine driver) so we finally didn't even touch the big nice dutch car...
The big question was to decide who are going to be the parents of the little Reka in order to get the family discount? The older being Gigi and Daniel but they are siblings...

We could observe a beautiful integral double rainbow.
And God said, "This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. (Gen 9, 12-13)
The promise being "The LORD smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: "Never again will I curse the ground because of man, even though [a] every inclination of his heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done." (Gen 8,21-22)

First real camping. First hot meal taken seated: Gulash and paprika-krumpli. The soil there was really bad and Jessi urged me to choose the place where to build the tent so we could at least try to avoid stones. Impossible task and we decided to put a really big stone between us two (i.e. in the middle of the tent) ... guess what? it is also impossible! laying down I felt a big relief under my foam ;-)

Last Nomadic Stop
You don't need to wait for the telegram...
Courrier Sud.

Inspiration (2): Impalas
An impala is a medium-sized African antelope. The name impala comes from the Zulu language meaning "gazelle".
Impala range between 73 and 92 cm (29 and 36 in) tall. Average mass for a male impala is 46 to 76 kg (100 to 170 lb), while females weigh about 35 to 50 kg (77 to 110 lb). They are normally reddish-brown in color (hence the Afrikaans name of "Rooibok"), have lighter flanks and white underbellies with a characteristic "M" marking on the rear. Impalas are an ecotone species living in light woodland with little undergrowth and grassland of low to medium height. They have an irregular distribution due to dependence on free water, soils with good drainage with firm footing and moderate or less slope. While they are usually close to water in the dry season, they can go weeks without drinking when they have access to green vegetation.
Impalas are adaptable foragers. They usually switch between grazing and browsing depending on the season. During wet seasons when grasses are green and growing they graze. During dry seasons it browses foliage, shoots, forbs and seeds. It can also adapt to different habitats by being a grazer in one habitat a browser in another. Leopards, cheetahs, lions and wild dogs prey on impala.
